Since 2019 we´ve been manufacturing PET-G bottles in our production facility in Thuringia.
In contrast to PET, PET-G is used in production of extrusion blown bottles. Bottles made of PET-G are transparent and boast beautiful glossy surface.
Moreover, depending on the tools used, various types of surface finish or combinations thereof are possible (e.g. “frosting” or “frosting” in combination with “crystal clear”).
The major advantage of PET-G over PET is the fact that via extrusion blow moulding process bottle forms can be manufactured which are impossible to produce via stretch blow moulding.
The weight and wall thickness of PET-G bottles vary from very light to heavy and very solid.
